Cancellations
Should a cancellation, time or date change be necessary, we request a MINIMUM of 24 hours notice for any service.
Appointments
Being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service and other clients are not inconvenienced. We allow a 15 minute grace period for late appointments. Anyone later than 15 minutes will have to reschedule for another time.
We reserve the right to refuse service for anyone who is consistently late or has 2 or more shows or excessive cancellations.
To ensure that you get an appointment when you want, we recommend that you schedule your next service PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SALON.
We also cannot guarantee same day appointments nor guarantee walk ins a time slot. Appointments are needed for after 5 pm & Saturday time slots.
Payments
We accept checks and all major credit cards. Payment is due at time of service. Gratuities are graciously accepted. However, please tell us before hand if you would like to include a gratuity on your debit or credit card.
There is a $35 NSF check fee on all returned checks.
Can I bring my children?
Due to the delicate nature of our business, we ask that children not be brought to the salon, unless are under the direct supervision at all times by an adult not receiving a service.
Returns
If you are ever unhappy with your service, please call us immediately. If a hair service is to be redone it must be within 7 days, otherwise the integrity of your service maybe compromised. You maybe charged for another service if you wait until after the 7 days. Product exchanges must be made within 7 days, as the integrity of the product may have been compromised. No cash refunds.

About the Owner
Chante D. Newcomb
When you get your hair or make-up professionally done, you are extending trust to the person holding the scissors or mascara wand! When that person is Chanté, you can rest assured your trust is well placed. Chanté has been working as a stylist for 15 years, and has worked in Chattanooga for the last 8 of those years.
Previous to opening ego salon & studio, Chanté performed platform stage work, acted as a stylist at runway fashion shows and held salon management positions. Donating her time to various charities is important to Chanté, as is educating herself daily on new trends and techniques in the industry. She strives to create real-life, everyday glamor and yet remain true to the individual sense of style of each of her clients.

*We have updated our online appointment system. We now use Schedulicity. An account must be created for first time use. The changes reflect technology you can now schedule with ease on your cell phone on the go!
*Fees may be increased due to extra product mixing, multiple color, length and/or thickness of hair and time of service. Exact pricing cannot be determined online. Fees listed online are a range to be determined by hair length, taxture, and thickness. Fees subject to change. See our current feesas of August 2010.
*Schedule separate appointment times for each person receiving a service. Family of 3= 3 seperate appointments.
*Extra time has been allotted on color services for hair cut to be included. If not receiving a hair cut that can be determined at the appointment time.
*Check your email after you set your appointment for your confirmation of your scheduled times, to ensure you have chose the correct time, and date. We cannot be responsible for incorrect times chosen by the client.
*To make any changes, log into your account. You can make any changes online from your account up to 24 hours before your time. Please note our late and cancellation policy.
